A one-way ticket

Life has a twisted sense of humor—cruel, dark, and surreal ones that it makes you double-take, asking, “You’ve got to be joking, right?” but deep down, you know it’s not.

Nothing makes sense. There was no linear cohesive train of thoughts, and everything seemed like I just had unfortunately landed on an out of pocket square on the game of life that threw me off course—only that it wasnt a game. It was real. Maybe its because I am not a planner, I keep a schedule, but one thing I suck at is Whether not knowing if this ticket was a bummer ticket or a golden ticket, the dice was rolled and I was one the plane to California. Its funny how life continues to challenge me in ways I never ever thought of—sometimes I am numb and it feels surreal to be out in Korea at the moment.
