Yours Always,

Yours Always,

English has always been one of my weaker subjects. (For goodness’ sake, I even spelled “Forward” instead of “Foreword” on my thesis.) But regardless, I love to scribble and write here and there. There’s something about a pen gliding across paper, the keyboard clicking, and the feeling of signing off my journals with Yours always.

Yours always—it doesn’t have to be romantic. For me, those words capture the strength of having someone by your side. They’re a quiet reassurance of presence, a reminder of being anchored, and of someone who is there in your corner somewhere in the world rooting for you. And maybe I sign off with Yours always in my journals to remind myself that I’m not alone—that if really no one is there, at least I am there, present through all my life’s hills and valleys, in moments of disappointment and joy, through it all.

This journal is where I record my thoughts and glimpses of my life. These notes may seem small andI do top them off with a lavish amount of emotions and “cringe”, but hey, they are honest words. And I write them so that they help me to look for the silver lining on gray days and to bask in warmth on the good ones, I hope, in some way, they remind both you and me that we never walk alone in this adventure of life.

So to whoever is reading this,
Yours always,
Ashley
